Rama y Su Combo were formed Nestor Mario Rama in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1968. Nestor, who played organ, was the leader of the band. They recorder three albums and at least a dozen singles – this one being their first. In 1972, they changed the name of the band to The Toppers and released seven singles before breaking up.

La Barra de Chocolate was founded by Alberto Ramón García – better known as Pajarito Zaguri – in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pajarito Zaguri had previously been in Los Beatniks – who are considered Argentina’s first rock band – and Los Náufragos.
Munster Records recently reissued their sole album from 1970. The CD version includes their all of their singles – including this track.
